Although "based" at 8805 North Magnolia Ave. in Santee, California,
Sonrise is far more than just a local church of people who meet together
once each week.
Since it's inception, the Sonrise community has consistently displayed
their love and commitment to the world around them. "Outreach" is
the one word that describes the actions shown by the people of Sonrise.
LOCAL
We have several teams who work together to share the Gospel with all
who visit Sonrise. Whether baking cookies, setting appointments, or going

GLOBAL
Sonrise is proud to be home to one of the most dynamic and inspirational
gospel singing ministries in the nation, Living Proof. These teams of
gifted young adults travel around the United States presenting character
education assembly programs to public elementary schools as well as sharing
the gospel of Jesus in their travels.
As Jesus commanded His followers to "GO" into the entire world,
Sonrise members have chosen to obey this directive by displaying its commitment
in Reaching Our World. Spearheaded by Pastor Doug Bray, this group of
believers known as Sonrise Community Church is touching the lives of individuals
around the world.
